Shock-absorbing Ball

Rubber shock-absorbing balls are passive shock-absorbing components with elastic rubber as the core material. They absorb and buffer vibration and impact energy through their own deformation. They are widely used in machinery, electronics, transportation and other fields. They can effectively reduce the vibration and noise during equipment operation, protect precision parts from impact damage, and have the advantages of easy installation, low cost and strong weather resistance.

When selecting the type, the following parameters should be given special attention to ensure that the rubber shock-absorbing balls are suitable for specific working conditions:

Rated load-bearing capacity: It refers to the maximum static/dynamic load that the rubber ball can withstand during long-term use (unit: N or kg). Overloading will cause permanent deformation of the rubber and failure of shock absorption.

It reflects the ability of rubber to dissipate energy. The larger the damping coefficient, the better the shock absorption and noise reduction effect (suitable for working conditions with large impact and strong vibration).

The vibration frequency of the rubber ball itself (unit: Hz), which needs to be staggered from the vibration frequency of the equipment (usually the natural frequency should be lower than 1/√2 of the equipment's working frequency), to avoid resonance (resonance will amplify the vibration and damage the equipment).

Different rubber materials have different temperature tolerances. It is necessary to ensure that the working temperature is within the allowable range of the material (for example, silicone rubber can withstand a high temperature of 250℃, while natural rubber is prone to aging when the temperature exceeds 80℃).

It refers to the maximum allowable℃of compression or deformation of the rubber ball under rated load (unit: mm), which needs to match the shock absorption stroke required by the equipment. Excessive compression will lead to a decrease in stability.

This includes oil resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, UV resistance, aging resistance, etc. The corresponding material should be selected based on the usage environment (such as outdoors, oil stains, humidity).
